NO POWER OF ELECTRIC RICE COOKER?EASY SOLUTION WITH PICTURES

An electric rice cooker is a great appliance that is often used to save a lot of time and effort in preparing fast meals after a long day. By using one, the user can quickly make some rice without worrying of overcooking or burning. Things to consider before doing this: SAFETY
Make sure that you unplug the cord stay focus and mindful of what you are doing because electric shock can hurt you badly or even cost life. Here we go:
First, make sure the there is power source in the outlet. Try to plug another appliance to make sure there is voltage according to what country you are and here 220 volts power source. If other appliance function well and the rice cooker will not, therefore it is damage and lets proceed to troubleshooting. No power so lets go immediately to the power source. make sure that the power cord is good. If you don't have the multi-tester, try to use the power cord on other appliances with the same socket like computer. When done and it is good, lets check the fuse and other power related causes.
Like most of all appliances, rice cooker made with fuse. It is an electrical safety device that operates to provide over-current protection of an electrical circuit. Usually, it is the first to blow out when there is a problem in the entire operation of this appliances and also if it is already old enough.
In my case, I will immediately replace the fuse without further checking because even if it is still good, anytime it will blow up due to its age in service. After changing the fuse, try to clean because older electric rice cooker appliances probably the switch contacts can become dirty or corroded. When this happens they will not allow a solid current to flow when the switch is pressed to start the cooker. After all return the parts to its proper place and power up!!!!
