NO POWER ON COMPUTER UNIT?Easy solutions with pictures!

PC appears to be dead, the monitor is blank.
NO lights on LED of CPU.
Fan not blowing on power supply.
No led light on keyboard.

then try these steps:

This scenario obviosly has no signs of life and probably the common cause is the source of power or the main power supply itself.

1. Try to check if there is power in your main source of power supply at the wall socket by plugging appliances into it. If it works, then the socket is OK.

2. If your using surge suppressor like AVR or UPS, remove it and plug directly and see if it cures the problem.

3. Check the Power cable or try substituting with other cable similar to it like in rice cooker. Mostly it is the same type. The best way to check them is by substitution.

If none of these are causing the problem, then most probaly the power supply of the CPU is the problem and you need to replace it .
